Got my Northglenn-Thornton Sentinel paper yesterday, and there's an article in it about a developer that wants to do a 300K ft. center at 136th and I-25.
He's proposing a recreation/athletics center along with a 2000 seat bicycle velodrome, indoor soccer field and a indoor gun range. Still in the early stages of meetings with City Council, etc..... |

Darn, just when I was thinking about building one up north around there. Oh well, it'll be nice just to have one up there though. I'm kinda tired driving down south just to shoot at indoor ranges. Hope it goes through with the City Council.

Depends on if they decide to try and make a killing on fees like the new one in Longmont (actually at 119 and I-25).

Text below is copied from the Whistling Pines GC newsletter that went out earlier this week. Sounds like some of you already knew about this. It was news to me, but I rarely get north of I-70 lately.
Trigger Time Gun Club in Longmont: There is a new membership only club in Longmont. It has 11- indoor 25 yard pistol lanes and 7 - 100 yard indoor rifle lanes. We helped the owners with the business plan, software, training, federal regulations, and operational procedures. As a result, Whistling Pines and Trigger Time members have reciprocity at each others clubs for the cost of the $20 guest fee. So, if you have a rifle you would like to sight in at 100 yards indoors and don't mind a 2 hour drive, give Trigger Time a try. It is a very nice club.
